shadawmon assembles new private recording & post studio on the Big Island

It's been a busy year for shadawmon writing, producing, collaborating, and shooting in some exotic places - in between several trips to & from Asia, Hawaii, and LA - all culminating in the opening of a new digital recording & post studio in Kealakekua-Kona Hawaii.

jah is now working out on keys & guitars with his combo of Otari analog/Motu digital (32 track) and the addition of an Apple Final Cut Pro Suite w/ JVC HD251e native HD hard disk recording. Get ready for MP4 mobile videos and some new artists on the horizon.

final tracks and mixes of the shadawmon's Native Son will hopefully progress faster at this point. Lots of interesting & fun projects in production. stay tuned :)

shadawmon is currently in the studio in Bangkok working on new recordings for his upcoming CD titled - Native Son

in between a profligate beach life of songwriting on Gulf of Thailand. He was recently commissioned to score the original soundtrack

for an coming feature film shot in Thailand in HDV high definition titled, Shadow Island -

a tale of pirates, natives, a ancient curse on lost emeralds & jewels, and the story of those who perish in pursuit of adventure and riches -

shadawmon's new material from the Native Son CD is scheduled for release in digital downloads soon -

shadawmon hopes to return to the Big Island later this year to reunite with family and friends. . . stay tuned for some cool jamz 2 come

I think my overall favorite vocal cut is 'Jilly Jilly'. It's got that perfect balance of new age JAH-Waiian feel that seems to be the logical evolution of reggae. MIDNIGHT SOJOURN is a true winner!
