Pacific Asian cold pressed Brown Rice Bran oil is a rich extraction from the bran or outer coat of the rice grain removed during the milling process. It is abundant in vitamins, minerals, proteins and essential oils. Rice Bran oil also has constituents believed to hinder UV rays absorption at the skin's surface. The natural color is a clear orange brown. Rice Bran oil has very little aromatic scent characteristics of most cosmetic and massage oils. It contains an extremely high concentration of fatty acids and unsaponifiables and is one of the best sources of natural tocotrienols known - an antioxidant component of Vitamin E. Rice Bran
Oil is extremely mild and perfect for dry/flaky, sensitive, mature
and/or delicate skin where additional moisturization is required.
It is effective for keeping skin smooth and contains a compound called
gamma-oryzanol - a component that can impede the progress of melanin
pigmentation by restoring the erythema activity of the tyrosinase
enzyme as it intercepts the UV rays at the skin's surface, hindering
UV ray transmission. Rice bran contains the highest content in Tocotrienols,
a form of vitamin E, could stop the spread of cancer cells, adding
to previous studies and drawing attention to this least studied form
of the vitamin. As such, Rice Bran oil has only recently become increasingly popular in the west for use in many types of skin,and sunscreen products.
