Macadamia Massage Oil

Raw Macadamia Nut (Macadamia tetraphylla) cold pressed oil contains a superb mono-unsaturated fat closely resembling the natural oily secretion from the human sebaceous glands.

More than 70% of the raw nut is composed of cosmetic-grade oil that moistens and protects the skin sebum. It contains a high concentrate (21%) of palmitoleic acid which is a component of human skin fat which supports cell regeneration. It contains omega 3 and omega 6 fatty acids which further help promote skin regeneration.

Macadamia oil easily emulsifies and absorbs quickly into the skin. It contains magnesium, thiamin, has a very low toxicity rating, and it’s highly emollient, soothing, and non-greasy. It also protects from the harmful effects of the sun, keeping the skin looking and feeling soft and supple, hence assisting in preventing premature aging of the skin. Additionally Macadamia oil lowers cholesterol levels associated with heart disease. A superb natural skin treatment for use in massage and facial applications, and unlike other unsaturated oils, macadamia nut oil is self-stabilizing thus no antioxidants are added to this oil.
